The Voyage Of The Hoku Pa'a In 1994 Jimmy set sail from Hawaii on his 30 Ericson sloop. In the following six years he sailed nearly 14,000 miles through the Pacific and Southeast Asia. With the small boat packed to the gunwales with surfboards, sailboards, dive gear, paragliders, scuba compressor, cameras, etc... the thrills were nonstop. All the photos on this page and a large portion of those in this site were taken during this voyage. When Stefanie signed on they added even more gear, burned even more film, risked their lives constantly, and then finally decided "Hey- we need a bigger boat!"
